How do you ship my order?

 

You have a choice of;

 

- Registered Airmail, 10 - 21 day delivery (for orders less than 2 kg)

 

- EMS Express Courier, 4 - 6 day delivery (recommended)

 

- UPS Courier, 3 – 4 days delivery (this service costs more but it is guaranteed)

 

Once posted, we can provide you with a tracking number and you can see your parcels progress online at all times.

 

Which currencies may I use to purchase from your web site?

 

You may buy in either, USD US Dollars, GBP Pounds Sterling, AUD Autralian Dollars or EUR Euros.  Please use the currency changer at the top of any page to view products in your desired currency.

 

How long before I receive my Ready-to-Ship order? (Ready made items)

 

Ready-to-ship dresses, costumes & accessories are shipped within 48 hours of your payment. They then take about 4 -6 days to reach you by EMS express courier or 10 - 21 days by registered post.  Please take weekends into consideration and public holidays.

 

A slightly more expensive alternative is UPS courier which offers a 3 day guaranteed service (4 days if sent over the weekend). 

 

How long before I receive my tailor made dress, costume or accessories (Make to order)?

 

We ask you to allow us up to 28 days to make your outfit.  Once completed, we can send you a photograph (if requested) and your parcel is posted soon after.  For slightly larger orders of 10 – 20 items we ask that you allow us up to 6 weeks plus shipping time.  In some cases these orders can be completed faster if agreed in advance.

 

How do I care for my sequin dresses?

 

Sequins colors and finishes are quite fragile. That is why sequin dresses are usually reserved for special occasions and get limited use. Treat them as you would any other special garment and only ever have them professionally dry-cleaned. If the dress is stored hanging up it may stretch. It is best to keep it flat and preferably not folded. If you fold it, however, let it hang for a few days before wearing it again.

 

How do I work out my correct measurements?

 

Please take great care when taking your measurements.  You will require a flexible tape measure and a friend to help you.   We also recommend that you find a good local seamstress who will be able to take your measurements professionally. 

 

If you are still unsure, then we can make allowance with your dress so that there is additional material to have the dress taken out locally.  We will also include extra sequins so that the dress can be let out about one inch at each seam.  If you require this free service please let us know in advance.

 

Do you make garments for female impersonators?

 

Yes, we often make dresses for female impersonators and we can make to any measurements specifications and also accommodate special requests.  If you do require a very big size, please email first to see if there is a price adjustment.  Extra big sizes are usually charged at a slightly higher price to cover extra materials and labor costs.

 

Do you have a policy for returns?

 

We do have a returns policy for under circumstances.  We must be notified of a return within 24 hours of receipt of the parcel, as confirmed by the Registered Airmail, EMS or UPS tracking records. After this period we have the right to refuse a return. Once we promptly acknowledge your desire to return an item (through email) it must be returned unworn as soon as possible within 15 days.  Once we receive the returned item, the dress will be remade or modified to rectify any points of dissatisfaction and then shipped back to you. Only if a fix or remake cannot be done will a refund be issued.

 

Payment of the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. PLEASE do not ship returns by UPS, Fedex, DHL or any other courier as customers are responsible for any charges incurred for returned parcels (such as tax).  Please use the express international service at your local post office (for example; Royal Mail in the UK or USPS in the US) to return items, after you have contacted us for confirmation and for our return shipping address.

 

Why is the sequin colour slightly different to that shown on your web site?

 

This can be due to either photographic processing or the settings on your computer screen.  There may be a slight difference between the colour of the sequins you see on the web site and the colour in 'real life'. 

 

If the pattern on the dress is slightly different, this I because all our dresses are handmade, not mass machine produced, and this may be reflected a little in the sequin pattern you receive compared to the pattern as shown on the dress on the web site. Please note that these minor differences are not the basis for a return.
