Tips for Good Measurements *
(Please Fill In The Chart Carefully At The Bottom Of Page)
The better your measurements are, the better your fit will be. Here are some helpful hints:
* Buy a flexible, tailors' tape measure. Do not try to use a ruler or a hardware tape measure.
* Stand in front of a full length mirror to see that you are putting the tape measure in the correct places.
* Ask a friend to help you.
Important Measurements
Chest:
Using two fingers under tape, pull tapes Snug around the widest point of chest. Then loosen till it feels comfortable. We do the rest.
Shoulder to Shoulder:
This is the most Important measurement. Measure straight across the back from shoulder edge to shoulder edge over the prominent bone
Shoulder to wrist: Bend elbow slightly, as shown. Measure from the protruding top backbone at center back, over to the end of shoulder, around elbow, to where you want the cuff to reach the wrist.
Neck: put one finger under tape and pull tape snug at the widest part of neck. Then loosen to where it feels comfortable or measurement desired.
Wrist:
Measure around snugly. If wrist watch is worn, measure directly over the watch.
Length:
With head straight forward, measure from the protruding point of the collar bone down to whatever length is desired. Usually about just below the zipper or crotch.
